Wasn't happy with my Dwarf Fortress Let's Play idea, so instead of just deleting the footage I made two 4+ hr long videos. It'll be nice to get something out of this, and I've got a name for any other let's plays that meet this same fate!

My current Dwarf Fortress video idea (while I'm gathering goals and scenarios for a different video idea) is to document my first time going below where you normally cannot dig below. I don't know what's down there, I've just heard of it referred to as "the circus" and that there are "clowns" down there and that's all I know. I feel like that's a pretty fun idea in general.
As I'm editing footage, I've been thinking about what will happen when I eventually get down there. I haven't gotten there yet, my last recording session had me at about Z-level -25. I know that this is basically as much of a spoiler as can exist in Dwarf Fortress, so if someone doesn't want to get spoiled I figure I should edit this in such a way where if you just don't want to get spoiled on what happens, you can bail at a specific episode.
My current idea is to basically end one episode as I'm just about to dig lower, and start the next episode with me digging and facing whatever fallout happens from that dig. But now I'm thinking... is the "To Be Continued" meme played out? Would it be very silly to put an intentional cliffhanger on a Dwarf Fortress Let's Play? Much to think about.
I try not to make “promo” art for things I may not make or release, but also… I’ve been feeling the itch to play/replay the MGS games.
