two things that suck about reposting stuff from Tumblr to Cohost:

  • Image handling. I'm having to remake a lot of images because I can't just "slideshow" images in the middle of my posts like I can on Tumblr. So this usually means I remake the images in Canva, host them on Imgur, then put them in my post. In some cases I'm getting a little more clarity out of the process on Cohost, just by throwing arrows into the new image collage, but I'm having to re-format a Pokemon nuzlocke for Cohost and it's gonna SUCK BUTT to get this stuff remade.

  • No queue. While I use the queue on Tumblr like a weirdo (700 posts deep right now, all reblogs) a queue in general is one of the best things Tumblr has that no other platform does and it's criminal. I've long argued that places like YouTube desperately need something similar to a queue, but it would be really good for a place like cohost. I don't wanna leave something in the drafts and remember to post sometime later, I wanna schedule it to post or put it into a queue of other posts!

anyways, i'm bringing over a written Pokemon Crystal Clear Nuzlocke Let's Play from Tumblr to cohost, so expect that later today.

i was gonna cross-post and format my tumblr post about a bad wrestling video game for cohost, but cohost shit the bed while i was typing and suddenly a big "something's gone wrong" text instead of the post box was there. so uh. here's the tumblr post for now.

I'm playing a game called TEW 2020, it's a text-based pro wrestling management/business simulator. It sucks ass. I detailed my entire effort just to get a company made and people hired... and I haven't even run a single show yet. All that effort, and not even one bad wrestling show to show for it.
