what are some good minecraft modpacks that are:

  • big/lotsa stuff
  • normal recipes (no needing a nether star to make a workbench)
  • not youtuber bait ("teehee you mined something and a funny meme guy killed you for 10000 HP")

i remember thinking RLCraft looked sorta neat and then i saw footage where like every other thing spawned a big fast thing that killed you in one hit and i was just immediately like "oh man this is just designed for youtubers to play and go 'OHHHH WHATTTTTT WOWWWWWWWWWWW'"

i think a good way to explain it is... you know how a lot of modpacks are meant to make the game/mods harder and to make you weaker? i want the opposite. i want essentially creative with a questline to get there
