man I'm bummed that more free text/note editors don't support wysiwyg rich text like office writer apps do. if WriteMonkey had text and font colors it would be the perfect fic writing app
honestly beginning to realize that I don't really like Markdown that much in general. I think for taking notes and writing Posts it's good but for anything more than that it just falls apart quickly. Also realized that I'm not a huge fan of Obsidian, mostly because of how it organizes files into one big slurry of folders and files. I mean you could split everything into multiple vaults but plugins would be separated between each. Blargh
I mean I could insert rich text into Obsidian Markdown files if I input HTML into my document (or use a toolbar addon), but nobody should have to put HTML in a text document to format text. That should be illegal I think
Also I dont like how if you click on stylized text in Obsidian it expands into its raw unstylized text and messes up the length of your passage. (I think it does this at least Im not entirely sure I haven't opened Obsidian on purpose in months lol)
