This is so frustratingly close to Noseybonk that I can't tell whether or not it's actually referencing him. Everything, from his appearance to the circumstances around the game (Australian developer) and the show (BBC kid's show airing in the mid to late 90s), is just plausible enough that this could have happened. But only just.
