i have it on good authority that creepy pasta fans have made dramatic readings of it on youtube lol, but i was never really trying to do a work in that genre, i didn't even remember the genre was a thing where i wrote it one night in a fugue state. just had a weird idea and wanted to write about it to see where it'd lead
writing guides to and reviews of non existent media is a time honored tradition
i love how it's vague whether you're supposed to do the prayers/sacrifices via the game's mechanics or in real life at first. good stuff

i recently had an e-mail from someone being a (ugh) creepypasta youtuber and they seemed so sincere i felt i was duty bound to give the game away and told him:
No images were ever produced for this, their absence is a very intentional part of the work, evoking memories of the old Internet, where it was much more common to run into web pages with the text intact, but broken links and missing pictures. There is no way I could have produced images as interesting as what the reader will come up with using the captions and their imagination, anyway.
it's such a good effect. sometimes there's really no substitution for One's Own Brain
