there is a character like Clippy but he only exists in the about window. he sounds like the sierra creature

when you start the app, it plays a stock sound library pop noise at full volume. you cannot turn this off without doing it in the code and recompiling (and no working artist has time for that nonsense)

it uses some obnoxiously outdated FOSS sound library that doesn't understand windows, and thus plays the sound on all audio interfaces at once. so despite your artist partner using usb headphones as they lay on your bed with their dusty 9 year old core 2 alienware desktop-replacement, you will hear this pop accompanying every quiet "fuck" and "goddamnit" as the program crashes every half hour like clockwork (as all art programs do.) you can tell that the pop is making them even angrier
