Frantically pantomiming behind a one way mirror

So is Homestuck one of those you had to be there kind of things? Is it actually worth reading at this point? Asking because a series of events that started with me thinking, "I should read Fist of the North Star because of its influences on FFVI" has ended with me discovering that I can check Homestuck out digitally from my local library, and I'm not certain this is actually a road I want to walk down.

Homestuck was definitely a moment, but a lot of its cognitohazards can still be enjoyed today. But if you want to experience it for yourself, I would urge you to use The Unofficial Homestuck Collection, an offline archived version that preserves what it was like to actually read Homestuck back in the day, with all the flash animations and other nonsense. The books and the modern website don’t do it justice. https://bambosh.dev/unofficial-homestuck-collection/
