When i used to go to Wonthaggi, my friends were all from places like Chadstone, Rosebud and Ferntree Gully - to a pre-teenage inner westie, they might as well have been interstate for all I knew (and had the power to visit). Here I am, nearly complete with a ridiculous quest to visit every single suburb: intimately familiar with, and in love, with all the rolling patterns and quirks of this place.
