I purposely selected a motel that felt like a place I would get murdered saying, "Surely this will be nice and quiet. No one will bring their children here." And I was having a lovely time. The amputee chainsmoking outside his room? No worries dude. The sad old man with his Ancient cocker spaniel who I think lives in his car? Very nice, we talked about tattoos.
