Important life lessons.

The teacher concerned was a bit of a loose cannon in mostly positive ways, and I think I remember us having to discuss the plot's construction.

The last couple times I watched Hackers, I had a "kinda' joking, but not really" revelation that Hackers is one of the most realistic portrayals of teenagers. Not that it predicted ANYTHING, but that even the good teenagers get are hormone-driven people who get into weird-ass trends to belong to somewhere, and even when they know what they're talking about, they pretend to know WAY more to try to impress people. And they're still WAY better than the adults.
