I've reached Timbuktu in my Cabin Pressure re-listen and god but Allam and Cumberbatch have some amazing line reads in this episode, even with Cumberbatch borderline-corpsing at one point. You can hear a Cheshire cat grin in Allam's voice so often. Finnemore's writing is perfect and they really did assemble a perfect cast.

It's criminal we can't give Finnemore all the awards for entertainment because he's mainly done radio work for his big projects.
I hope co-writing the new Good Omens series will lead him to whatever project his heart desires. Even though he is an absolute genius when it comes to working with the radio as a format.
