This giant mammal has some sort of fungus growing from its body. Whether this relationship is symbiotic, parasitic, or otherwise is unknown. Subsisting mainly on seeds, this creature is docile but the disgusting goop that oozes from the cap is poisonous when mixed with nectar. The eyes, though. If feels like they're peering through my soul.
... I wonder if it knows I forgot my anniversary.

Mixed with enough sugar the inky goop can make for a passable, if volatile, pancake syrup.
