Decker 1.45 is small and sweet, but still worth the upgrade:
-
Configurable FatBits scaling factor.
-
More performance enhancements for some overloads of the
@operator in Lil. -
A fancy new primitive operator for Lil,
window:
# exclusive windows of up to 3 elements: 3 window "ABCDEFGH" # ("ABC","DEF","GH") # overlapping windows of 3 elements: -3 window "ABCDEFGH" # ("ABC","BCD","CDE","DEF","EFG","FGH") # paginating cards of a deck the old way: extract list value by floor index/2 from range deck.cards # the new way: 2 window range deck.cards
And, of course, releases now include the Big Naturals utility module.
As always, you can try the latest release right in your browser!
I've also been doing some internal cleanup work to make it easier for Decker to be built both against SDL2 (which it currently uses) and SDL3 (which would allow me to include a handful of nifty new features on supported platforms). In the process, it also becomes much easier for me to pursue SDL 1.2 compatibility- which would allow Decker to be built on a number of older platforms, with some functionality reduced- and potentially "native" ports for platforms that SDL does not target. More to come!
