early 20s.
starting to make sense of the facade
the true self remains uncertain
in the car earlier i found myself saying to daria that we live in the eternal seinfeld world. a world where absolutely nothing can just be left alone, everything has to be picked apart, analyzed, some hidden meaning found in it, some conspiracy, something that's somehow part of a great big Systemic problem and not just "an event happened." the same force that makes people write fan wikis that attempt to explain the connections between every single thing in a 6 season show and then you read the writer interviews and they're like "we had a different staff every week, i don't think any of us ever knew what was going on with the vulcans." jerry, i was just at the grocery store, i bought milk, the checkout girl didn't smile. she always smiles! i think it's because i bought 2% i think she doesn't like 2%
