is there a fun backend reason for why when you request notifications older than four months, all that remains is follow notifications?
when we build the initial feed we’re grabbing a fixed number of Events to populate it, but it’s fixed based on type. we grab 200 follows and, since they’re less frequent than other notif types, follow #200 is generally longer ago than like #200. i’d like to get notifications on the same speculative fetch system that we’ve got for dashboard pages but It’s Hard and i’ve got other shit going on.
