the camera I currently have is part of the Kodak VR35 series and I love how boxy it's shaped. but there's other really fun ones in the series like the K14 with a flippy top!

the Canon Snappy 50 is also a great shape, it's still boxy but it's a long boi

look at how many eyes this guy has! this is the Nimslo 3D and it does stereoscopic images

and look at all the knobs on this one! this is the Rollei 35SE

autofocussing also first arrived in the late 70s with the Konica C35AF, which had this classic boxy shape, and other brands started modelling after them, like the Canon AF35M and the Nikon L35AF and the Minolta Hi-Matic AF2

red details seem to be a trend during this time, although there were some that were solid colours and not just all black, like the Konica Pop

anyway. real fun camera shapes that came after the silvery metals from cameras pre-1970s and before the silvery plastics of the late 1990s, keeping the same boxy shapes as older cameras before they realized they could make the plastic be any shape they wanted...
