every year we share this recipe (which i'm going to try and persuade kb to choast) and every year we tell people it makes a comedy amount of cookies and every year people message us like "wow i did not believe it would make this many cookies but it did". it's like the recipe has a little joke built into it which is that you're going to make a million cookies
getting into the spirit by gathering ingredients and purposefully refusing to believe it can possibly make fifty-six cookies

tempted to make these for when i go to see my mother-in-law's this christmas
I really wish I had my stuff together this winter, because baking a big batch of cookies to mail sounds like a fun day.
Maybe I can send January cookies... hmmm....
Oh and I totally think it'll make 4-5 dozen cookies, easy, based off the flour and amount of oats, but I bake a lot. I've made that mistake before!
unfortunately I have no choice but to make these cookies and make them even more dangerous by infusing the butter with dank herb (holy moly though a batch of cookies that big would last me 4+ months in the freezer. Half a cookie is too potent for me, LOL)
As someone who loves sweets and doesn't partake in the herb, I've always wondered. If half a cookie is too potent, why not reduce the weed/butter ratio so that you can enjoy more cookies for the same high?
efficiency 😅 I use it in part for pain, or for migraines, sometimes anxiety/insomnia, so I'd rather nibble on a single cookie as needed than slam 3 cookies haha
I've made these cookies the past few years and they're so good! My loved ones beg me to reduce the recipe but I refuse.
a standard oatmeal raisin cookie recipe (that calls for less than half of the ingredients listed here) gets me about 50-60 cookies using a tablespoon scoop, so i'm guessing it not only makes a lot of cookies but they're Large too. in fact i don't think i have a mixing bowl this big
I read both of these posts and still made roughly twice the number of cookies that i expected
