it's interesting how people see these as off-putting but no-name as endearing
I think the difference with Simulate is that the branding is communicating that they're leaning into food as a tech product [e.g. the very sterile cool colors and the intentionally huge ®️], made by a corporation, while Sans Nom is (at least communicating the idea that) they're removing the idea of a company and a brand from the products
