I could just stop at making chili. I had to keep going as the juices were flowing and some coffee biscuits sounded like the perfect baked good to make.
You can taste the espresso in the cookies but not as strong as you'd think. Most of the flavor does come from the chocolate chips themselves. These are a great after dinner treat to have with coffee or milk.
Those look good. :3 I'm usually not a fan of coffee flavors, but like, I've heard so many cooking channels on YouTube say that a little bit of espresso powder in the cookie dough makes the chocolate taste more chocolatey. I'd nab one. ^^
They're totally right. 1 tablespoon espresso with 1 tablespoon warm water into the creamed sugar/butter mixture really will enhance the dark choco chips nicely.
