So the carrots were cut too thin and broke down. Beef is über tender so falls apart easily. Still not bad on the flavor.

So far the scent is heavenly. Added a bit of red wine to the onion and carrots for a bit of a bolder flavor profile.
I could just stop at making chili. I had to keep going as the juices were flowing and some coffee biscuits sounded like the perfect baked good to make.
You can taste the espresso in the cookies but not as strong as you'd think. Most of the flavor does come from the chocolate chips themselves. These are a great after dinner treat to have with coffee or milk.
