still a month to go of me trying to rush in a bunch of games i've been meaning to get to, but i've started compiling a shortlist of my 10 favorite games i've played this year and i think this is a pretty good list to start with! my ongoing project of playing a ton of old games has really paid so many dividends in finding a lot of cool stuff, but this year was surprisingly strong with new games! i'll try and get more detailed write-ups going when we actually reach the end of the year, though!
