i GUESS nobody wants to WORK anymore
somehow all cavern layers in this volcano are squished claustrophobically close together like very thin pancakes and the magma sea is right underneath at a mere -3 elevation (the wiki proclaims the average magma sea location to be -120 and a MINIMUM depth of -5). when I got here there was already a 350 year old hydra in the first cavern layer who ate a child before I sealed everything off
