a thing i would like a lot (but am not sure if it's possible so for now i'm just idly fantasizing) is a sort of automated show/hider that goes on websites that have floating horizontal bars across the top/bottom of the website, especially for pages that expect you to scroll vertically a lot.
this website here is a minor example but a lot of media outlet type websites love to take up a third of my browser view and i can't always turn on reader mode, so either ignoring them or blocking them entirely are my options, but these both come with their own sets of issues because these bars are usually fairly functional to any given website.
i like it when the bar just lives at the top of the screen so i can scroll away from it perhaps the best, and then there's the implementation where if you have some sort of generated content disher situation you could scroll down and have the top bar sorta hide or show itself depending on if you were scrolling down or up respectively. anyway, just a thought
