• Erik Carter on the future of typography: Erik is the GOAT at writing on design in a totally real, no-fluff way. I've returned to his article for Walker from a couple years ago over and over. Worth a read for some alarming news about the ongoing Monotype monopolization even if you don't fancy yourself a fonts person.

  • Psymon Spine on Audiotree Live: I love when a band with a really studio-built, synthetic sound does a live set and approaches their songs from a new angle! The GUM Audiotree set from a couple months ago has been on heavy rotation for me and this one is now on equally heavy rotation for me. I love Psymon Spine and I love hearing them switch to "basement show" mode for this sesh.

  • Airbuds: This is a little app that just shows you a feed of what songs your friends are listening to and you can, like, send them an emoji about it. I honestly really like how low-stakes and goofy the whole concept is.

  • How to Cheat at Super Mario Maker: Yes, this is about Trimming The Herbs. It's easy to assume cheating is easy but as this explains it's actually extremely complicated in its own different way.

  • Super Supau Sports Drink: Almost as good as Pocari but a can is like 80 cents at the Asian market near me instead of three bucks.

  • Mundane America: Someone else taking photos the way I take photos! But professionally! Wow!

  • How many bathrooms have Neanderthals in the tile?: A neat little piece about someone discovering a hominid jawbone in their parents' travertine floor and the relationship between mineral industry and the fossil record.

  • NASA / JPL Eyes: Having a lot of fun clicking around this real-time 3D solar system that includes all the different space probes and stuff. I'm glad 0.1% of my taxes went to these guys.
