I've been feeling particularly driven to make things lately! Been doing art, writing, coding, doing some site design/etc., now I'm writing up a 1-2 page TTRPG. I checked out a book from the library that I really want to read and it's like 400 pages long lol
And the school semester starts next Monday! Though this time I'm going in for a master's degree, and 15 hours each week will be dedicated to my assistantship.
In retrospect this always happens when I have the school year on the horizon. I get this incredible wave of motivation to work on various projects, or commit to different hobbies/etc., and then get smacked by the school year. It's really difficult to keep the momentum going, and balance my energy/time/drive for each part of my life.
On the bright side, I had my 6-week follow-up with my gynecologist today, and she said everything is healing up nicely after my hysterectomy. I definitely feel much better than I did a month ago, which is a relief.
