That is WILD! I didn't know it was even possible for the Globetrotters to lose. I didn't even know they actually played a real game! I thought it was like Medieval Times or something where it's just the Globetrotters showing off!

I want to learn everything about this after reading this article.
First off, for the VAST majority of their existence they were a SEPARATELY OWNED TEAM. Like they accompanied the Globetrotters but they were a totally different company. What the actual fuck? I just can't wrap my head around that. That's such a bizarre arrangement for a different company to exclusively supply the Globetrotters' opponents?
And also the throw-away line that the Washington Generals just casually beat the Taiwanese men's national team. No biggie! It's one thing to lose to the Globetrotters. It's another thing to LOSE TO THE TEAM THAT LOSES TO THE GLOBETROTTERS
