So I threw a shit ton of work into something as a pitch to a company. After being jerked around for months, they finally opted to pass on it. Fair enough. Whatever. So I took the thing I'd made and released it to the public for free because it was that much work and I wanted it to actually get used.
Get an email from someone else in the same company who clearly doesn't talk to his boss asking if I'd be interested in letting them publish it (for free, of course) and whether I've got plans to do more of the same.
