Unfortunately the timing just didn't work out. There was a nationally observed rest/vacation/celebration? day - Sports Day or some damn thing - and it made Tokyo fucking packed on the day that we'd originally planned to visit the muscle girl cafe. Booo.

Anyway, for real, y'all ain't seen a city as choked with people as when someone says to you, "Tokyo is going to be busy," and then you find out that a city ordinarily home to 14 million people can decide to suck up even more hapless souls into its neon embrace.
