πŸ”ž I say lots of heck words and post questionable smut. Stick around if that's your thing, but if you're below legal age to view such things in your jurisdiction, kindly go someplace else.
🚜 Bob Semple was right.

me: patiently and thoroughly explaining why i'm not using the technically correct colour for a historical miniature, including a brief physics lesson on the science of light and scale
them: "but why aren't you using the right colours?"

i mean, i could repeat myself but i can only assume you'd be deaf or ignorant a second time??

Where's the Read More switch so people don't have to watch me flip out all over the timeline? Okay, there.

maybe there's a vast number of hobbyists that find edge highlighting dull and tedious, or physically demanding in a way they can't get satisfying results out of? maybe there's a time factor involved and drybrushing to a reasonable standard is much faster than painstakingly painting a highlight on every armour panel and sharp edge? maybe there's literally limitless methods for painting a toy soldier the way someone likes and there isn't any single correct method? maybe shut up???????

Goddamn, yup!

I tried doing the video thing for a bit but I really can't be arsed any more. It's so much work (especially if you have higher standards than "filmed in the dark, on a 15 year old phone, by someone who can't hold still, and uploaded direct to youtube") and it just doesn't feel like it's worth it because within 30 seconds... enter the clowns

It's like this everywhere. I'm having coworkers with the same problem of "it does not matter if I give generic advice and show how to fix something in lots of places, if I didn't say specifically this they won't get it"
