Sometimes, out of nowhere, I will see an album cover or a Three Wolf Moon t-shirt or something along those lines, and I'll fondly remember a regular back in the Games Workshop store I used to frequent. Let's call him Lupis Canis, because he'd probably get a kick out of that. Anyway, he had a plaited beard, played Space Wolves, actually owned and regularly wore a Three Wolf Moon t-shirt, and his favourite song was Metallica's 'Of Wolf and Man.'
One day I asked him, "Hey, do you hang out in any furry spaces online? Y'know, the whole wolf motif-" and I may as well have asked him if he'd like to use his dick to stir a jar full of bees. He was not on board. I raised my hands and expressed surprise at his vehemence, but didn't push the matter; it was clearly something he wasn't into discussing.
Anyway, about three months later, he discreetly showed me his 'new fursona.' Yes, friends. It was a buff as fuck wolf dude. I hope he's still out there, protethting too much, having a good time.
