Someone just told me that I "have to paint" something a certain way.
BUT HE DON'T KNOW ME VEWY WELL, DO HE?
"You have to use these clear coats, you have to use an airbrush-" bitch I have many friends and associates who have demonstrated that's some bunk-ass bullshit. Do not presume to tell me my business.
"They're fully articulated so you need to be careful how you paint them before assembly-" I'M GONNA GLUE THE BASTARD IN PLACE, AYYLMAO
Never mind. Enthusiasm for the project shot entirely to hell. Don't get me wrong, I'm not ordinarily put off by, "Hey, welcome, here are some things you might like to know just in case," but unsolicited and prescriptive insistence on someone else's standard? Never mind. You foaming nutters can go stand over there with your fuss and your rigid perfection, I'll just keep playing with goofy toys.
Less than twenty minute turnaround from "That might be cool" to "OH GOD YOU'RE THAT KIND OF COMMUNITY HUH".
