Never mind. Enthusiasm for the project shot entirely to hell. Don't get me wrong, I'm not ordinarily put off by, "Hey, welcome, here are some things you might like to know just in case," but unsolicited and prescriptive insistence on someone else's standard? Never mind. You foaming nutters can go stand over there with your fuss and your rigid perfection, I'll just keep playing with goofy toys.

Less than twenty minute turnaround from "That might be cool" to "OH GOD YOU'RE THAT KIND OF COMMUNITY HUH".

sad to hear! if it makes you feel any better, I have a bunch of gunpla that I've assembled and panel lined in the loft and I will never, ever buy an airbrush.

my deep fascination is with people who are on the other side of it but still enforce it?? like i know more than a few people who like gunpla but they won't even think about painting unless they're airbrushing, and they're just as bad about insisting you need to use an airbrush! truly, hobbyists must burn
