Well, I almost got tempted by this edition but I’m kinda glad they told me literally every kill team I have in hand has an expiration in a year to kill that interest.

I already thought it was sketchy they were implying you need an official terrain set to play, but this really underlines that someone in GW saw one of their lines was actually reasonably affordable and wanted to squeeze it for more money.

It's so fucking stupid that there's no Pocket Money way into Warhammer any more. Everything is looking at the 30-somethings that grew up with the hobby, faded out for a while, and are back with disposable incomes. They're putting the squeeze on every player as though the fanbase is made entirely of whales, it's ridiculous. The worst thing is that it'll probably continue to work for them for a few years more.
