So, there's a few posts circling the bug about art, its impact, its reach, who it belongs to, audience versus authorial intent, so on and so forth. Very clever people are speaking and I don't have much to add to that, honestly. Let me tell you about the roll-up shorts worn by the British 8th Army in 1941, but my opinion on art - and all its varied sundries - is... pedestrian at best.
