So, the worst decision I've ever made that had the best outcome? Totally devoid of context, I tell it to you like this:

I decided to pursue into the forest a strange light that I, at the time, had genuinely taken to be an extraterrestrial craft landing in the arse end of nowhere... and it lead me to a chicken pie. I say this was a worst decision to make because, holy fuck, if it was an actual alien spacecraft landing out the back of Sam's farm, I was in absolutely no state to represent my species to interplanetary travelers.
