i spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to set up a template for sound novel1 style posting--something that would look like the Otogirisou ss above--but b/c i don't know anything about html/css i came up with.....nothing lol. well, i guess i have a better grasp on what won't work and what i need to learn to get the effects i want but ugh learning for hobbies is hard
1 sound novels are a term for late 90s-early 2000s visual novels that displayed text over a static background. in fact "sound novel" and the format it introduced predates the term "visual novel" by many years, but getting into the nitty-gritty of genre nomclementure is too confusing to cover in the notes of a vent post lmao
