i also love whatever big red snake dragon is...i mean, i know what it is. It's the one on the cover which means it is The Legendary, but like, it's cool that Pokemon is not just hiding The Legendary away until late game.

in non-Pokemon news, I'll be in Boston for New Year's weekend--finished booking the hotel last night, and I'm trying to decide on whether or not to reserve a seat at a restaurant on NYE as well. I'm a little sour I couldn't find a hotel within my price range that had like a nice, big bath for a long, bath-bomb infused soak (I do not have a big bath in my condo) but it does have a very large shower and bathroom with a terrycloth robe included (i do not have a terrycloth robe in my condo either) so at least i can use shower fizzies. c:

I have, kind of a big family meeting thing tomorrow, i'm a bit nervous. once again it is not something that directly involves me (yet), but i am being asked to intervene in a delicate situation and i'm planning on saying no. this is going to hurt some feelings and sensibilities and i do not feel great about it, but i feel worse about inserting myself into this ongoing problem so...i just gotta stick to my guns, i guess. my parents are in my corner on this matter, so at least there's that.
