I don't really talk much about Pokemon online (because I'm extremely genuinely fucking tired of the whole discourse surrounding the series online, which for some reason always turns extremely hostile, and I really don't need those kinds of vibes in my life), but the one thing I do kinda sorta agree with is that it's strange that they decided to put the Pokemon Stadium games onto NSO, but none of the actual Generation 1 and 2 Gameboy (Color) games.

though then again, from what I remember, literally everyone only played the Stadium games for the minigames anyway, so maybe that's the true reason they put them on NSO, lmao

NGL I am genuinely hoping that when they inevitably put RBY/GS on NSO GB, they hook up some functionality to load GB save files into Stadium 1 & 2 via emulated transfer paks. That'd be amazing for Online VS.

it doesn't seem impossible, considering how they already had the "If you own Xenoblade 2, you get some additional cash as a bonus in Xenoblade 1 Definitive" thing, so I hope they'll do that here too, if it ever happens

it's wild how reluctant Nintendo is to rerelease the old Pokemon games. R/B/Y and G/S got rereleases on the 3DS eShop and as far as I know, that's it. are they that worried about their old games competing with the new ones?

i've seen a few yt videos popping up lately where people analyze stadium rentals as a Format™ for battling and it looks like it's got so many weird quirks and Is Actually Interesting especially due to the fact that there is only one setup for every pokemon and they aren't Perfectly Optimized the way they are in like, gen 1 online competitive stuff
