ngl, I actually quite liked Paper Mario: Origami King.
sure, the game absolutely makes sure to do its damndest to filter out anyone who doesn't like sliding puzzles really early on, but for what the game is, I had a fun time! Hopefully, if they end up making another one, they'll let friendly non-player characters be more than just different colors of Toads again, though, I'm still sick of seeing those mushroom heads by what feels like the thousands in the modern Paper Mario games.
Also, a leveling system with upgradable stats too, please. That would be nice!
Here's hoping that all the "give us a proper Mario RPG" Mario fans go put their money where their mouths are with the upcoming Super Mario RPG remake, because chances are Nintendo are absolutely gonna look at the sales of it to determine if they should make more games in that style.
