I grew up with Cheers, but I was a kid. I never really paid attention to it beyond the theme song when it came on after cartoons. But I knew her as Saavik. Sadly, these notices are going to become more and more frequent. All the actors I grew up watching, authors I grew up reading, artists I listened to.
Linear time sucks.
EDIT: Yeah, her politics sucked. But I can still appreciate the character she portrayed and the work she did AND denounce her political ideology. And -nobody- deserves cancer.
