I probed the signals coming out of the FM TOWNS SN’s analog RGB out DE-15 connector, and it looked like the pinout was roughly in line with what VGA should look like. Sure enough, I gave it a try with my bench 2001 FP, and the FM TOWNS SN’s video out is VGA-compatible.
