[barging in to someone else's ask] ok but if you do get a singing saw, make sure the bows you use are BOTTOM TIER QUALITY
mine came with a (rightly) crap bow and this is good because though the side you play is the one with no teeth, that edge still looooves to slice the horsehairs
apparently cello bows are good because they're shorter? tbh no idea what kind of bow I have.
Cello bow, that makes so much sense! I've someone's old violin bow, which does fine, but now I'll definitely take up a cello bow if I happen upon one
usually it's the bow for an upright bass I think. my old fiddle teacher plays it on occasion
