Something that I've been thinking about watching HxH is how the moon is weirdly occluded. When a moon is reflecting the sun's light the crescent is never more than half way around, but the moon in the world of Hunter x Hunter is often a near-circular crescent, implying that it is being eclipsed by some nearer dark body.
I don't know how this feeds in to the mystery of what a hunter is, but I have my red string at the ready just in case.
Also I'm really looking forward to hearing you all talk about the map and the existence of York New City. That's real worldbuilding right there.
