everything in there was gold. everyone in there hated me (because i was a foreigner and because i was nude (because i had to take all my armour off in order to carry a huge crate of goods halfway across the country)). then i went into the basement and something on the other side of the room shot a fireball at me literally immediately
i would like to clarify that prior to the basement nobody was hostile. rude, yes - and a hostility in architecture - but i bought a few potions. someone gave me directions to a nearby town. there were no warnings about forbidden areas or locked doors. hostilities commenced IMMEDIATELY on my entering the basement
