yeah about the only nice thing I can say about covid is "at least when I got it after I was boosted, it felt like a bad flu instead of something completely different and much worse, like it did the first time"
hope y'all are feeling better soon, jeff
Every day was a new symptom and each one of them sucked! Hope you and yours feel better soon.
it's hard not to get existential about the most tangible details of this stuff lately, i think. it can be completely debilitating at times, even just the act of trying to wrap your brain around it all.
that sounds like hell, though. i'm so sorry man. i'm glad the kids are holding up, but taking care of relatively healthy kids while both parents are sick is a woefully steep hill to climb. my heart goes out to y'all. here's hoping it passes soon and doesn't leave any of you with any long term lingering complications or anything. take care, duder. <3
My partner and I just got it for the first time as well. I was lucky and only ended up feeling stuffed up, she was bed-ridden and achey all weekend but is starting to feel better today.
I had to miss the funeral of my godmother today because of it, that is what really sucks for me about it.
I hope your family all starts to feel better soon and nothing lingers from it for you folks.
I got it before any of the vaccines hit, definitely went through some introspection. During the worst of it I genuinely had my first "Oh, I might not make it through this" thought in my life. So, yeah. I definitely feel you.
