Seeing this build of MK1 for the Genesis (from CES 1993) is a strong reminder of just how willing publishers were to put early builds out at tradeshows. It certainly ain't like this anymore.

Seeing this build of MK1 for the Genesis (from CES 1993) is a strong reminder of just how willing publishers were to put early builds out at tradeshows. It certainly ain't like this anymore.
Before Early Access, preview builds were the most broken, unplayable stuff you could get. And it was kinda rad to see something that raw. Not saying that EA is a bad thing for previews, which are generally more attainable for everyone now, but we did lose some literacy on the concept in the process.
Around the time I found the unused VF1 characters. I seen a video from an from the 92 or 93 AoU Show. Where all the characters had the same move set as those unused characters.
