I bought a weird clamp arm thing to try to move my camera to a different spot but unlike every other mount like this I've purchased this one doesn't extend, so... great for moving the camera about 10 inches.
I need to just get a new desk, one with a long enough lip on the back that'll allow me to clamp stuff there directly. Right now I can only clamp on the sides.
I keep thinking these adjustable desks from home depot look good, https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-62-in-W-x-24-in-D-Adjustable-Height-Solid-Wood-Top-Workbench-Table-in-Black-HOLT62XDB12/ they're just wood so you could do whatever with em. Hope to replace my glass desk with one some day.
I have adjustable legs from one of the many standing desk vendors and a nice solid IKEA table on top. room on EVERY SIDE to clamp stuff. And oh god do I clamp stuff
