Good art, no question. However, I still get annoyed by the whole notion that Bloody Roar needed a "Spurious," whatever the hell that is. Four games and a spin-off, and we never once got a bear. Sure, we got boars and bats and rockhopper penguins and something that wasn't even born yet, but no bears, animals known for their crushing strength and ferocity. What the hell, Eighting or Raizing or whatever?
That kind of thing is why in my redesign project I'm just giving all the monster people animal forms instead. They made like 4 or 5 cat people and then gave up on the animal kingdom.
They didn’t really give up though? We were still getting new & different animals even in the last game, though I did find Crow homies design really kinda bland somehow.
I think the Unborn are kind of a neat idea, Zoanthropes connecting and pulling from the bitterness of Animals & Beast that hit an evolutionary Dead End is a pretty sick idea.
I'm just imagining her telling some edgelord "how about you consider THIS lobster" then claw-punch.
Gods, I want nothing more than a Bloody Roar reboot in this style. You went above & beyond in making Nagi way cooler, even if I mistook this for Nagomi McDaniel fanart at first!
