Happy new year! This post is a few days late because I had a few hellish days at work, but I didn't want to let it slip too much so let's get to it.
On Gotham City Limits, Em and I meet Batgirl in the two-parter, Shadow of the Bat. What could have been a pretty good story is instead constantly derailed by the men making this show being relentlessly horny. Pondering Pootan closes out 2022 with Niamh and Connor tying up all their loose ends. I won't spoil it, but I belly laughed twice while listening to this. Pardon My Franchise wraps up its first season with Nora and I being surprised by Survival of the Dead. We were sort of dreading this one, but were surprised by how enjoyable it was. Plus! We will take a skip week and then begin on season 2 covering the Robocop quadrilogy!
Ghost Divers does its new years special as the year of Nana comes to a close. Niamh and Connor (re)read Nana and have a really good discussion about it. And of course with this, the pact is sealed, Niamh will never do another podcast about Nana nor will she bring it up on other podcasts.
