Another premium Novel Not New episode has been unlocked for the general public! 🔓

Back in June last year, our former cohost @em-being returned to discuss Private Eye Dol, a breezy adventure game for the PC Engine CD/TurboGrafx CD!

If you like what you hear, please consider backing our Patreon: there's still plenty of episodes that are exclusively hosted there, and your support helps keep our little media crit outlet running!

On this upcoming Sunday, June 4, we’ll have Em from Abnormal Mapping on to discuss Private Eye Dol! This mystery/adventure game came out on the TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine CD all the way back in 1995, but thanks to a brand-new translation patch released only a few months ago, it’s now available to play in English!

We’d love to hear your thoughts on Private Eye Dol, mystery games, or the TurboGrafx itself. Send your questions and comments to emails@scanlinemedia.com, and we’ll read them out on-air!

And here’s the link to the translation patch, if you’d like to play it for yourself: it’s a relatively short game, so there’s plenty of time to check it out before we record!
